History
The business history of KUNESA began more than 100 years ago with the foundation of the Scherer joiner's workshop in Weiskirchen. At the time of the economic miracle in Germany, the former managing director Matthias Scherer specialized in the interior finish of pharmacies.
The invention of the drawer cabinet with adapted organization parts and accessories provided a significant boom to the company in 1967. Continuous further and new developments increased the practical benefits of the furnishings from the KUNESA Company. During the nineties, the company once more demonstrated its innovative strength with the introduction of the patented and fully automatic storage system "KLS" for medicine packs.
Since 2003, Felix Scherer has been managing the family business meanwhile in the third generation. His goal is to open up new and innovative lines of business as well as to develop improved concepts for pharmacy furnishings. Launching new offers for the areas of gastronomy, hotel business, wellness and spa led to a successful expansion of the previous fields of activity.
